Passar is the new digital goods-traffic system of the Swiss Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (BAZG), replacing e-dec.

A PAEDS (Passar Export Declaration Submission) is the structured XML message used to lodge a Swiss export customs declaration with the BAZG Passar system.
PAEAD — Passar Export Assessment Decision

ePortal.admin.ch is the BAZG's production portal, where assessment decisions are visible.
ePortal-a.admin.ch
ePortal-a.admin.ch is the BAZG's test (acceptance) environment for parallel runs and the counterpart to the production portal ePortal.admin.ch.
GP-ID
A GP-ID is the Passar Geschäftspartner-ID, the identifier of a business partner in the system.
Veranlagungsverfügung
A Veranlagungsverfügung is the formal Swiss customs assessment decision — the umbrella term for the legally binding decision of the BAZG on a customs declaration.
